International Transaction Fees Are Normally Charged On Credit Cards

Nearly all credit card companies in the USA, will charge a two to three percent foreign transaction fee if your card is used on an international basis. Many credit card companies did not clearly disclose or explain these fees in their terms and conditions until this recent time.      

Earlier this year many consumers were notified of a class action lawsuit settlement concerning these fees. Credit card companies are now being required to clearly state foreign and international transaction charges on credit card applications, since the lawsuit has been settled.

You will most likely be told that your credit card company charges three percent for all credit card international transactions if you get in touch with their customer service to find out. It can be very expensive on the purse to pay an extra three percent on every purchase, but these charges can be avoided.
